When Negative Ions are Positive for the Body

On a regular day basis, we don’t stop to think about the atomical processes that happen in our body. Why should we? But the fact is, atoms are the beautiful components that make us, well… Us! Atoms are everywhere. Everywhere as in, they are in our body, the chair you’re sitting on, the monitor you’re looking at, and outside. They are what makes everything up. When we talk about atoms, we think of molecules becoming positive and negative ions. Without these two electronically charged particles, our whole world would cease to stop.

When you think of the word positive, you think of good things! We’re conditioned to embrace this word for our emotional and physical well-being, but what if you need something negative to bring out the positive? Sounds a little fishy, doesn’t it? Well, being exposed to negative ions yields positive results. We’re talking about stress relief, rejuvenation, and other physiological benefits.

Negative ions are found in the great outdoors. It’s no question why people who tend to be outside are a whole lot happier than those who stay indoors. On the contrary, individuals that live in the city experiences a great deal of unnecessary stress. This type of stress could be influenced by electronics that may produce electromagnetic radiation from wires and power lines. Our cell phones, computer, and television are also a culprit in emitting positive ions which cause series of unexplained illnesses.

The next time you feel clustered, try giving mother nature a visit. The best places to immerse oneself in negative ions are around bodies of water such as lakes, waterfalls, and the ocean. But just being in the great outdoor is enough to soak in all that negative ions! Until then, stay negative! Negative ions that is!
